Who We Are

For over 20 years, Prescott Valley Performing Arts  has been entertaining people in the Prescott Valley area. Founder Clyde Neville wanted to bring live theatre to the quad-cities not only for patrons to enjoy but also to give actors of all ages an outlet for their creativity. Not having a permanent home meant performing in available spaces throughout Prescott Valley offering Children's, Teen's, and Family theatre, as well as Mainstage shows. Finally, 2022 marked the beginning of a new era for PVPA as we finished building our forever home next to Findlay Toyota Center on Main Street. Our new theatre, Main Street Theatre, will provide a place for children, teens, and adults to show off their acting skills onstage, but also participate in so much more!   We also started the Prescott Valley Youth Choir, a choral program with seasonal sessions where our youth can learn about and be part of a vocal ensemble throughout the year, that culminates in concerts for our community. PVPA will now be able to offer the community all of the things we have dreamed about for years. We are YOUR community theatre and look forward to welcoming you to our family!

Rebecca Riffle-Bakody (MBA) - Executive Director
Rebecca has been with PVPA since 2012 in several different roles. She has been on stage many times to include Music Man, Arsenic and Old Lace, Gilligan’s Island The Musical, and Clue The Musical, to name a few. She has also directed numerous plays and has been on the leadership team most of her tenure with us. Her husband and sons have always been key contributors to our cause. She now leads the team into the future through compassion, accountability and pure love for PVPA.

Clyde Neville - Community Liaison Director
Clyde founded the theatre after working with other theatre companies in the area and knowing he could make a successful start in Prescott Valley. Starting as Lonesome Valley Playhouse and later Prescott Valley Performing Arts, Clyde held performances in various locations until finally realizing his dream of Main Street Theatre in the Entertainment District of Prescott Valley. PVPA has entertained countless number of people in its original Children's and Family productions, and later adding Teen Theatre and Main Stage. Clyde loves seeing his dream being realized every day through the wonderful people who help make the theatre run.

Lori Frey - Business Director
Lori has been with PVPA since 2023 and was formerly on our Board of Directors. Her vast experience in organizational management continues to help forge policy and change within our theatre. In the Business Director role Lori oversees Box Office/Marketing Operations, Volunteer Relations, Continuing Education and Theatre Maintenance.

Jennifer Gail and David Castagner - Youth Music Program Director/Camp Directors

We are Miss Jenn and Mr. Guitar (David Castagner), a dynamic duo passionate about the performing arts and music education. Since childhood, we've both been immersed in music and performance, shaping our lives and careers.

Miss Jenn's journey began as a singer-songwriter and performer, traveling across the country and even to Australia, embracing a wide range of musical influences. With a self-taught mastery of guitar and a vocal range that spans classical, contemporary, folk, and musical theater, her love for theater started at just four years old. Her classical background in opera, coupled with her education at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in Los Angeles and New York City, paved the way for her to perform in numerous productions and release her debut CD, Still. Now, she's fulfilling her dream of giving back through teaching, inspiring students worldwide to grow and thrive in the performing arts.

David, affectionately known by the kids as "Mr. Guitar," began his musical journey at three years old by making music with pots and pans before moving on to piano, bass guitar, and just about any instrument he could get his hands on. A classically trained composer from McGill University in Montreal, David took his talents to Hollywood, playing in rock bands and sharing his love of music with others. With over 18 years of teaching experience, he brings a patient, fun approach to music education, ensuring that learning is always enjoyable.

Kayla Burke/Lori Frey - Box Office/House Manager
Kayla wears many hats at the theatre including, Volunteer Coordinator, Board Member and House/Box Office Manager. She originally got involved with Prescott Valley Performing Arts as a backstage mom during our 2024 Summer Program "Stinky Cheese Man" and has fit in so perfectly with our team!

Our Business Director, Lori Frey, shares Box Office/House Manager duties with Kayla and oversees many of the Front of the House positions. Having been involved with theatre since college, Lori has the perfect insight to make things run smoothly.

Rhona McCoy - Wardrobe Manager
Rhona has been doing Theatre since high school, and she has been doing costume design since she could pick up a pencil. Her earliest memory is of hand stitching Barbie clothes at age 4! Rhona is very excited about this opportunity to work with our community and kids, and we are excited to have her with our theatre.

Code of Conduct

A message to our staff, participants, and volunteers:

In addition to bringing new patrons and volunteers into our family, we must ensure those with us stay. For that to happen, they must feel comfortable with our processes.  Along with excellent communication, we strive for great appearance and etiquette.

Our theatre must be clean at all times.  If you are running a rehearsal, a work crew, or a business meeting, please factor 15-30 minutes into the end of your process for clean-up.  Let’s ensure floors are swept, tools are put away, and supplies are returned to cabinets.  Spilled drinks and food crumbs invite bugs and critters; please keep your personal spaces clean.

We want a good relationship with our neighbors, the Fain Signature Group, the Event Center, and the Town of Prescott Valley.  So if you see trash in front of the theatre to the west, the back of the theatre to the east, or anywhere in that north parking lot, please help us keep it clean and tidy.

When at the theatre or representing it, please be cautious of your attire.  Avoid suggestive, inappropriate, or opinionated shirts, hats, or jackets.  At least business casual is always the best approach unless you are on a work crew.

Everybody in our theatre family deserves your respect; please give it to them regardless of age, ethnicity, or background.  Please be aware of body fragrances, allergies, and personal space. Sensitivities may be very different from person to person.

Remember that some things about the theatre belong behind closed doors and away from our patrons, like cast members in costume, personal discussions, theatre assets, and technology.  Let’s keep the fourth wall intact.

Other etiquette items include:
Being on time, using the cast and staff doors when appropriate, showing respect for all theatre property, saving the closer parking spots for patrons, and being a great role model to those around you.

If you have questions or concerns regarding our Code of Conduct, please contact our Executive Director immediately.
