Matilda Jr. is a musical adaptation of Roald Dahl's beloved children's book Matilda. It follows the story of a young, incredibly smart girl named Matilda Wormwood, who has the ability to move objects with her mind. Despite being neglected and mistreated by her ignorant parents, Matilda finds solace in reading and develops a strong bond with her kind school teacher, Miss Honey. Together, they confront the cruel headmistress, Miss Trunchbull, and help Matilda discover her true potential. The musical emphasizes themes of empowerment, courage, and standing up for what’s right.
