The Elevated Actor Six Week Acting/Improv Class
with Professional Actor Matt Conde
Our six week Elevated Actor classes run from August 2 through September 6
The Elevated Actor PLAN+FOCUS+GOAL=ACHIEVE
This program has been developed to introduce the “green” actor and re-introduce the seasoned actor to the current world of acting. Those who have completed prior session of The Elevated Actor will learn new skills while those new to the class will not feel behind. All levels will learn valuable tools and skills.
The PLAN of this program is to teach fundamentals and tools for; stage, screen, improv, and commercial acting.
This ongoing class is designed to be fun and inclusive. Each level (kids, teens, adults) will build upon what was learned in prior levels/classes.
It is our FOCUS to teach acting and improv techniques that will acclimate and upgrade the actor's skills and abilities.
Our GOAL is to use professionals in the fields of Improv, film/TV, commercial, and stage performance.
We firmly believe that this will give the modern performer, of any age, the strongest set of tools needed to navigate the currently trending and future landscape of the entertainment industry. With the conclusion of this program, We believe that the actor will:- be able to understand better how the industry works-; have a greater knowledge of film/commercial acting and improv techniques- have the tools of technique, and have the confidence to ACHIEVE success.
The class will run with the following:
KIDS (8-12) 10:30am -11:30am, TEENS (13-17) 11:30am - 12:30pm, ADULTS (19 and up) 1:00pm -2:15pm
Cost: $130 for kids and teens, $130 with a college ID, $140 Adults
Dates: Saturdays, August 2 - September 6

For Auditions:
- Please prepare to sing a song in the style of the show. (32 bars of a song works or one verse and one chorus) We will provide a bluetooth speaker for use or you may sing acapella.
- Be prepared to cold read short scenes from the show.
Rehearsals will be Monday through Thursday from 6:00pm to 9:00pm starting September 2nd and performances will be October 24, 25, 30, and 31 with both a 7pm and midnight show on Halloween.

Join us on Tuesday, September 2nd or Thursday, September 4th to audition for one of Shakespeare's most popular plays. Mistaken identity, crazy love triangles and a master of disguise all lead to a comedy of errors! Be a part of this historic show.

Disney's Mary Poppins Jr. follows the story of the Banks family in 1910 London, where the children, Jane and Michael, are in need of a new nanny. When Mary Poppins arrives, she uses a mix of magic and common sense to teach the family the importance of valuing each other. The musical includes unforgettable songs, magical adventures, and valuable life lessons for both children and adults, reminding everyone that "Anything can happen if you let it."

We are actively looking for volunteers to help out in our theatre and during our shows. We will teach you how to sell tickets, sell concessions and just be a smiling volunteer for our wonderful patrons. If you are interested in working behind the theatre scenes, we can help out with that too. It's fun and rewarding.
